Growler USA partnered with Green Flash Brewing Company based in San Diego, CA, to create a beer- and cause-based, system-wide limited-time-offer for our brewpubs. The purpose of this LTO was to associate Growler USA with another well-known craft brewer, align with their annual cause marketing campaign, generate a sense of urgency to enjoy their limited release brew, Treasure Chest.
I worked alongside Growler USA’s Director of Marketing and the team at Green Flash to:
- Identify the Treasure Chest limited-release brew and charitable program as a strong fit for the Growler USA brand
- Select two additional beers that complemented Treasure Chest and the fall time frame of the LTO
- Simplify the menu offerings for the LTO (in comparison to those of the Stone LTO), accommodating all Growler USA kitchen formats
- Create promotional messaging, with an emphasis on the charitable component of the Treasure Chest program, for social media, in-store, and PR use
- Implement the Green Flash program at 14 Growler USA locations, ensuring proper keg allocation and timely order placement
